Principal Debb Smith offers a unique perspective that results from her extensive experience in development planning; commercial planning and design; park, recreation and trails design; and residential design. Working as a team member on multiple large scale projects helped Debb to establish and implement her own distinctive process and design approach. Her combined BS in landscape horticulture and Masters in landscape architecture has given her a comprehensive background that integrates both the built & living environments.

Residential Design
Residential landscapes afford the opportunity to create visual and functional connections between architecture, outdoor living spaces, and the natural landscape. Outdoor spaces can be transformed into dynamic “outdoor rooms” by taking advantage of unique settings and views, the textural and seasonal qualities of plant materials and the use of distinct garden details. Our residential landscape portfolio includes landscape master plans for new homes, and large and small scale to renovation master plans for existing sites. Designs have included entry sequences, patio and deck concepts, outdoor kitchens, stone walls, arbors, and mixed planting beds of trees, shrubs, perennials and ornamental grasses.
